Job Skills / Requirements

  • Military veterans and people with firefighting, department of corrections, or law enforcement experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Must have a current, valid Concealed Pistol License**.

Compensation and Schedule

Compensation Rate of Pay: $25.00/hour.

Schedule: Full-Time Tuesday-Friday, 0700-1700; Part-Time Tuesday/Thursday 0600-1800.

LOCATION: Novi, MI

Scope

SCOPE: Armed Security Officers protect military bases and ensure safety and security for employees and visitors.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct foot and vehicle patrols.
  • Ensure only authorized individuals are allowed access to the site.
  • Monitor CCTV for safety and security concerns.
  • Patrol the interior and exterior of buildings.
  • Patrol parking lots, roads, and remote locations in a security vehicle.
  • Respond to emergency situations.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and update managers on client communications.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Current, valid Concealed Pistol License or LEOSA certified.
  • Pass a drug screening at time of hire and randomly thereafter (including for marijuana).
  • No felony convictions.
  • A friendly, positive, professional image.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for 8-12 hours at a time.
  • Clear vision and hearing ability.
