• Evening Shift, Full-Time
• 3 P.M. – 11:30 P.M.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor for and respond quickly and professionally to all security threats, incidents, and hazards
• Conduct investigations, meticulously document incidents, and assist in training staff on the environment of care and emergency management procedures/drills
• Act as a helpful resource, providing information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote overall safety
• Perform foot and vehicle patrols, manage traffic and parking enforcement, and report any potential equipment malfunctions
• Maintain safe and responsible driving practices while operating facility vehicles

Requirements

• Driver’s License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
• Class D (Unarmed Security License) and Class G License (Armed Security License) issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer date
• BLS Provider preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
• Law Enforcement or Security Professional experience preferred
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience (required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable)
• Ability to effectively read, write, and type incident reports
