Armed Security Officer

About the role

We are seeking experienced Armed Security Officers to work at private school campuses. We are a family-owned and operated firm specializing in security/protection.

Responsibilities

• Two year's ARMED experience minimum.
• Outstanding personal character, integrity, and professional demeanor.
• Highly motivated with above average interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understanding of and ability to implement dedicated customer service.
• Self-starter with initiative and ability to follow protocol and chain of command.
• Flexibility and willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physically fit; drug free.
• Willing to subject to pre-employment background investigation and random drug tests.
• Valid California exposed firearms permit/Guard Card.
• Willing to take a TB test.

Requirements

• Resume/CV Must reside within commuting distance to the greater Los Angeles area.
• Preferred Qualifications: Related security experience.
• Ability to be an effective team member.
• Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
• Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
• Ability to provide high quality customer service.
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a reliable means of communication.
• Must have a reliable means of transportation.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass company's preemployment screening process, including drug screen.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state licensing and permit requirements for security work.

8 hour shifts 40 or 32 hour a week schedules Opportunity for overtime.
