About the Role

As an Armed Security Agent Officer II, you will be part of a highly trained security team supporting critical facilities, infrastructure, public venues requiring enhanced security presence, and personal protective services. This role is integral to the broad spectrum of specialized security services Inter-Con provides its clients daily.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and rule infractions.
• Detect suspicious activities and watch for criminal acts or rule infractions at or near your post.
• Report all incidents, accidents, or medical emergencies to the appropriate person.
• Monitor access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm, and video surveillance systems.
• Patrol facility properties via walking, vehicle, or bike patrols where available.
• Perform safety and equipment inspections.
• Provide customer service and problem-solving.
• Respond to emergencies (e.g., medical, bomb threats) and alarms (e.g., fire, intrusion).
• Report unsafe acts and environmental conditions.
• Enforce company and client policies, rules, and regulations.
• Escort staff and visitors on the client’s property.
• Provide other services as specified by Post Orders.
• Generate clear and concise incident reports as needed.
• Complete Daily Activity logs in clear and concise language.
• Perform all essential functions inside and outside the property, including exposure to inclement weather and unpredictable crisis situations.
• Report to work as assigned and complete shift assignments, including overtime as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• All necessary certifications as required by State and Local Law.
