Armed Security Officer $30/hr - Newington NH
About the role
Securitas is looking for multiple highly qualified Armed Security Officers to work at a military client site in the NH Seacoast area (Newington, New Hampshire). This opportunity is open to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. The ideal candidate is former/current military, former law enforcement, or former/current security professional; however, motivated individuals without prior experience will be trained.

Pay
Starting pay: $30.00/hour. Annual salary range: $30,000–$45,000.
Schedule
Part-time or full-time, 8-hour shifts. All shifts currently available; must be flexible as shift days are not yet specified and are frequently subject to change.

Requirements
- Strong customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a military setting
- High level of professionalism
- Ability to walk/stand for long periods
- Flexible work availability
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 18 years old (21 years minimum to receive an armed license)
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Physical fitness test
- Competency with handgun, shotgun, baton, handcuffs, and use of force
- Comfortable performing foot patrol, access control, reporting, safety inspections, customer service, and emergency response
- Ability to pass background check (criminal, motor vehicle, credit) and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Personality profile test as part of selection process
