Armed Security Officer 3
About the role
Department: BHCLR Admin. Shift: Evening. Working Hours: 1430‑2230. An armed Security Officer III (SOIII) is a state‑credentialed position of advanced security experience. An armed SOIII performs security duties to include protection of guests, patients and staff, their property and company assets. An armed SOIII can perform all duties assigned to an SOI or SOII as well as the additional duties: mobile and/or foot patrols, security of psychiatric units, emergency departments, and contract security locations. An armed SOIII is expected to respond to all types of emergency alarms in accordance with BH policies and procedures, often working with law enforcement during the execution of duties.
