As an Armed Security Guard - Banking Center in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in financial institutions. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. In this armed patrol role, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, financial institution policies, and emergency response activities.
• Maintain a professional armed presence and conduct regular and random patrols of the building, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate promptly with authorized personnel and/or emergency responders.

Requirements

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Possess a Corrections Officer License or Law Enforcement Officer License (acceptable).
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
