Armed Security Guard

About the role

The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently, they will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol client sites to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Enforce rules and regulations for personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers.
• Serve as a physical deterrent to potential threats.

Requirements

• Experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness to perform patrol duties.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background check.
• Pass a drug screening.
