Armed Security - Cash Transport

About the role

If you are over 21, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and seek new challenges, a position as an armored truck Driver/Messenger might be right for you. In this role, you are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of valuables, including heavy lifting (50lbs+). You will issue and receive confirmation receipts to verify each transfer, and act professionally to develop rapport with customers, meeting our high standards of customer service.

Safety and security are top priorities; you will follow the highest levels of driver safety in all weather conditions and remain vigilant for our customers, colleagues, and the community. All positions are armed, requiring you to obtain and maintain the necessary licenses for your area.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport valuables
• Perform heavy lifting (50lbs+)
• Issue and receive confirmation receipts to verify transfers
• Provide professional customer service and build rapport with clients
• Follow strict driver safety protocols in all weather and traffic conditions
• Maintain vigilance for the security of customers, colleagues, and the community
• Operate large vehicles in diverse conditions
• Maintain required guard and firearm licenses

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid and clean driver’s license
• Ability to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations
• Strong customer service skills and effective communication in person and by radio
• Willingness to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions

Pay

The pay range is $18.50 - $20.25 per hour, based on performance and additional responsibilities.
