Pay

$23.00 – $24.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM; no weekends

Responsibilities

• Handle security incidents and emergency response situations
• Conduct patrols and monitor access points
• Report incidents accurately and promptly
• Interact professionally with the public, staff, visitors, and stakeholders

Requirements

• Active Tennessee Armed Security License
• Dallas Law Certification
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Prior armed security experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Excellent report writing and documentation skills
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
• Ability to respond appropriately to emergencies
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Sound judgment in high-pressure situations

Qualifications

• Prior armed security experience required
• Experience handling security incidents and emergency response situations
• Experience conducting patrols, monitoring access points, and reporting incidents
• Experience interacting professionally with the public, staff, visitors, and stakeholders

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working in a school or educational setting
• Active Shooter Certification
• CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Access control system experience
• Emergency response planning experience
• Experience working with local law enforcement agencies
• Customer service-focused security background
