About the role

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Armed Flex Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Flex Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent. Our highly sought-after Armed Flex Security Officer positions include full training.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and patrol client premises
• Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area
• Provide customer service and information to client’s employees and customers
• Serve as a physical deterrent
• Respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment, using appropriate escalation

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Above average computer/technology skills
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills
• Able to work independently
• Able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift
• Professional demeanor
• Willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
• NV Driver’s License required
• Able to pass the IPAT
• Armed Guard Card preferred
