Armed Emergency Medical Technician (Part - Time)

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Intercede, escort, or assist in escorting persons as needed.
• Observe and report inappropriate or suspicious behavior and/or materials/objects to the client.
• Communicate and/or document any irregular security-related or safety-related incidents.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 5 years police experience with a city, state, government, or municipality.
• Possess 20 college credits from a police academy or equivalent.
• Possess a valid EMT certificate or registered nursing license.
• Have a valid security and concealed weapon license.

Qualifications

• Service in Military
• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or nursing related studies

Skills

• Law Enforcement Experience
• EMT/Certified Nursing License

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm - shifts will vary as this is a part-time/flex position.

$41 per hour
