About the role
If you are over 21, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and seek new challenges, a position as an armored truck Driver/Messenger might be right for you. In this role, you are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of valuables, including heavy lifting (50lbs+). You will issue and receive confirmation receipts to verify each transfer while maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport valuables in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Operate large vehicles while adhering to the highest levels of driver safety.
- Interact professionally with customers to develop rapport and meet service standards.
- Issue and receive confirmation receipts for each transfer.
- Maintain vigilance for the safety and security of customers, colleagues, and the community.
- Comply with all state regulations for guard and firearm licenses (position is armed).
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older with a valid and clean driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
- Strong customer service skills and effective communication in person and by radio.
- Willingness to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting (50lbs+).
