Cintas is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Corporate Security Agent to join our team. This role focuses on protecting Cintas employee partners, properties, facilities, and physical assets at the corporate offices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, implement, and administer security programs that control access to the organization’s facilities and assets.
- Work directly with outside vendors or agencies on security-related matters and manage security personnel as applicable.
- Continually evaluate the security program, including processes and procedures, to identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct regular patrols of company facilities, including exterior areas, to ensure safety and security.
- Document and report all incidents.
- Provide on-site support for situations, maintaining a security presence for any escalated issues.
- Provide oversight and support for access control and visitor management processes.
- Utilize and manage a combination of security equipment, including surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems.
- Handle complex issues and problems in a calm, professional manner while ensuring the safety and security of the site and all parties involved.
- Inform and enforce company policies and rules, which may include apprehending or escorting trespassers.
- Oversee a safety plan for the complex and assist with safety-related items throughout field operations as needed.
Requirements
- Must possess and maintain a current Ohio Private Investigator Security Guard Services certification with firearm-bearer endorsement, Ohio Law Enforcement active commission, or current LEOSA/H.R. 218 credentials.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in law enforcement, security, military, or a related field.
- Required to maintain certification for AED/CPR and First Aid (Cintas can provide).
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- If prior military service, must have received an honorable discharge.
- Experience in access control and CCTV.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and ascend and descend stairs frequently.
- Proficiency in self-defense and de-escalation skills/tactics.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful or emergency situations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Law Enforcement certification or recent separation.
