About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant Barback to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for hospitality and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a courteous, gracious, and professional demeanor at all times.
- Establish and sustain strong communication and teamwork with colleagues and other hotel departments.
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience aligned with the company’s standards of excellence, professionalism, and friendliness.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding and adherence to the sequence of service for every guest.
- Operate the POS system effectively to coordinate with team members.
- Stock and maintain the bar area and supplies, ensuring superior cleanliness and organization.
- Assist coworkers with any tasks necessary to create a great environment for guests and staff.
- Execute additional duties as requested by management.
- Possess expert knowledge of all food and beverage aspects of the restaurant.
- Maintain heightened awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel.
- Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Prior experience in hospitality or the service industry preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
