Join a hardworking, safety-focused team where your attention to detail helps keep essential plant equipment running reliably. As a Lube Technician / Ground Person, you will play an important role in preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and daily plant support.

Responsibilities
- Apply lubricants to conveyor bearings, crushing equipment bearings, and other plant components to help prevent premature wear and support reliable equipment performance.
- Perform thorough visual inspections of equipment and plant areas, including checking for leaks, wear, or other maintenance concerns.
- Communicate inspection findings and recommend additional servicing or repairs when needed.
- Operate a skid steer and other assigned equipment safely and responsibly.
- Wash down and maintain plant areas to support housekeeping, safety, and production standards.
- Absorb and assist with plant maintenance tasks, repairs, and general labor as needed.
- Follow company safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized, and team-oriented work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Problem-solving skills and willingness to identify maintenance needs before they become larger issues.
- Clear communication skills and a team-first attitude.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in plant operations, maintenance, lubrication, heavy equipment, aggregates, construction, or industrial work is helpful but not required.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility.
- Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.
- Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs as needed.
- Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments.
- Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely.
