Arena Attendant | Part-Time | Cable Dahmer Arena

Responsibilities

• Perform any duty required to operate the rink.
• Greeting customers and checking in prepaid pass holders.
• Staffing cashier and/or rental desk.
• Process payments and hand out skates.
• Maintain rink cleanliness during open hours.
• Clean the rink after closing, including vacuuming and sweeping the rink and emptying trash receptacles.
• Maintain the safety of customers by monitoring ice conditions.
• Address issues with individual skaters as necessary.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as a Cashier is a plus.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Creative and proactive problem solver.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and punctuality.

Pay

This position will pay an hourly rate of $15.00-$19.00.

Schedule

This position will remain open until August 21, 2026.

About The Venue

Cable Dahmer Arena is a 5,800-seat arena in Independence, Missouri. In conjunction with the Arena, OVG also operates Independence Community Ice.
