Area Supervisor/Key Holder

About the role

The Area Supervisor plays a crucial role in the Store Leadership team, overseeing a specific area within the store and managing the general operations and supervision of the store. This position is vital for maintaining a safe and secure environment, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient merchandise handling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment by promptly correcting or reporting any unsafe conditions or practices.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Execute and supervise Company's operational processes as needed.
• Treat all customers, associates, and other leaders with respect and professionalism.
• Manage the store's front-end operations, including cash registers, shortage control policies, and other front-end procedures.
• Train and coach associates on various procedures and best practices.
• Ensure all areas of the store are clean, well-maintained, and merchandised to standard.
• Handle administrative duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Qualifications and Special Skills

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
