Area Supervisor

About the role

The Area Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing a specific area of the store and ensuring smooth operations. They are responsible for customer safety, merchandise presentation, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment
• Treat associates and customers with respect
• Manage the front-end operations and train associates
• Supervise fitting rooms and ensure merchandise returns are handled correctly
• Perform administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications and Special Skills Required

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of the working time
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop
• Ability to lift and push/pull more than 25 lbs occasionally
• Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies

Benefits

Base pay range: $16.50 - $17.00
