Area Supervisor

About the role

The Area Supervisor plays a crucial role within the Store Leadership team, overseeing a specific area and managing the general operations and supervision of the Store. This position requires a deep understanding of safety protocols, customer service, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment by immediately correcting or reporting any unsafe conditions or practices.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Manage the front-end operations, including training and coaching associates on cash registers and shortage control policies.
• Supervise fitting rooms, ensuring their cleanliness and compliance with Company policies.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Special Skills

• Physical requirements: ability to stand, walk, and move around the Store for up to 100% of the working time; bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop; occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 lbs.; use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies.
• Stockroom leads: ability to regularly push, pull, and lift more than 20 lbs.
