Area Supervisor

About the role

The Area Supervisor is a member of the Store Leadership responsible for a specific, assigned area of the Store as well as the general operations and supervision of the Store when functioning as the Manager on Duty. Key responsibilities include maintaining safe and secure environments, customer service, general merchandising, loss prevention, front end supervision and operations, and fitting rooms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment
• Treat all customers, associates, and leaders with respect
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed
• Manage the front-end area, train and coach associates, and ensure salability of merchandise
• Maintain the Fitting Rooms, ensure go-back compliance, and handle merchandise returns
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by the Store Manager

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Special Skills

• Physical requirements: able to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, stoop, push, pull, lift up to 25 lbs, and occasionally lift more than 25 lbs

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a drug test

Pay

$17.50 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Hours may vary based on store needs and may include evenings and weekends.
