About the role
Join Nox Group, a fast-growing industrial enterprise dedicated to humanizing construction, as an Area Superintendent. This role supports innovative, complex, and large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects nationwide. You will drive program performance across safety, quality, schedule, cost, and client satisfaction while leading high-performing teams in hyperscale and enterprise data center environments.
Responsibilities
- Emphasize a culture of exceptional safety and best-in-class quality for all foremen, craft, and trade partners.
- Support and develop Foremen, fostering a positive environment for craft and trade partners.
- Provide guidance to the Field Engineer on survey and layout needs, including scheduling requirements.
- Assist the Project Superintendent with project schedule development and maintenance, including pull plans, look-ahead schedules, and the Last Planner System.
- Prepare work plans for critical tasks and facilitate detailed reviews with the Field Engineer and Foreman.
- Understand budgeted values for labor, equipment, and consumables; collaboratively plan work with Foremen to ensure commercial success.
- Ensure efficient crew sizing and makeup, adjusting as necessary.
- Ensure Foremen complete all necessary reports and documentation accurately and promptly (timesheets, daily reports, safety/quality forms, employee evaluations, etc.).
- Lead coordination and support for all QC processes for assigned scopes or projects.
- Actively participate in daily and weekly project meetings.
- Promptly report field issues to the Field Engineer and Project Superintendent.
- Assist the Field Engineer with the development of lift drawings.
- Develop rapport with owners, clients, engineers, and trade partners while ensuring contractual compliance.
- Plan and safely execute hazardous energy control, testing and evaluation (T&E), working at heights, and confined space procedures.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of all aspects of construction, industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities.
- Ability to multi-task, collaborate with others, set priorities, and take initiative.
- Demonstrated success supporting a team through complex project execution.
- Experience leading project teams and holding them accountable to project goals.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- STSC trained; proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software is a plus.
- Positive and teachable attitude.
Education & Certifications
- OSHA 30 Certification.
