About the role
A day in the life as an Area Sales Manager:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed personal sales targets and corporate objectives.
- Identify and generate new leads through research, networking, and referrals.
- Lead the sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing.
- Travel extensively within your territory to prospect in-store, build trusted relationships with prospective customers, and conduct sales meetings.
- Effectively utilize Sales Technology (Salesforce, Hubspot, Highspot, etc.), including tracking all activity and leveraging reports and sales tools to manage pipeline development.
- Leverage your preferred sales methodology to uncover the need for UVeye solutions with prospects (e.g., Integrity Selling Process, Challenger Sales Model, etc.).
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Account Management, to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and proper hand-offs.
- Represent the company at conferences, trade events, and Dealer Demo Days.
- Understand and continually develop the UVeye value proposition within your territory.
Requirements
- 3+ years in a B2B sales environment, preferably automotive SaaS or hardware sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly and annual sales goals.
- Experience executing a formal sales process, from prospecting to closing.
- Familiarity with the automotive industry, dealership operations, and the automotive technology landscape.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience using a CRM methodically for sales success, preferably Salesforce.com.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time (drive & fly).
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Travel & Physical Requirements
- Regular on-site work within dealership environments, requiring approximately 90% travel.
- Extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and frequent movement throughout dealership service lanes, inspection areas, showrooms, and outdoor lots.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or other outdoor elements commonly experienced at dealership locations.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on site protocols.

Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000, plus commission. Actual salaries depend on experience, qualifications, skills, location, education, and operational needs.
