Area Sales Manager - Northern Indiana/Southwest Michigan

Responsibilities
- Manage your defined territory and set the sales strategy to capture new markets, expand our footprint, and achieve sales targets.
- Build relationships with distributors and end-users to drive product adoption and loyalty.
- Develop and implement sales plans that align with market trends and company goals.
- Use data and market insights to refine your approach and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Partner with distributors to develop product promotion strategies.
- Train and educate trade school trainers on proper use of products.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- 2-5+ years of experience in sales (inside sales, outside sales, field sales, etc.) within the tools, construction, or related industry.
- Knowledge of the tools market, key players, and what drives purchasing decisions.
- A demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and driving growth.
- Ability to develop a sales strategy and pivot when necessary to achieve results.
- Highly autonomous with a strong entrepreneurial drive to build and manage territory.
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation), negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
The expected annual salary for this position is between $76,303.00 and $102,627.00, plus quarterly incentive bonuses and a provided vehicle with gas and insurance reimbursements. This range represents a good-faith estimate, and actual compensation will be based on factors including knowledge, location, skills, training, and experience.
