About the role
This pivotal role is responsible for maximizing revenue and market share for sales segments across a group of hotels through new business acquisition and saturation of current account relationships.Responsibilities
- Oversee a cluster of hotels and maximize revenue by selling all facets of the properties to previous, current, and potential clients.
- Strategic Sales & Revenue Growth
- Target Acquisition: Proactively identify, qualify, and solicit new group and corporate accounts that align with our portfolio’s brand identity.
- Strategy Implementation: Execute tailored sales strategies to hit monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of NYC travel patterns, neighborhood trends, and competitor shifts to position our hotels as the premier choice. Utilize business intelligence tools to proactively identify opportunities and trends.
- Negotiation: Expertly navigate contract negotiations to ensure maximum profitability while securing long-term partnerships.
- Create strategic sales action plans that will address the direct needs of the segments and the hotel.
- Relationship & Account Management
- Client Connection: Build and nurture "gold-standard" relationships with travel managers, event planners, brand key account managers, travel agents, TMCs, and industry partners.
- Engagement: Routinely complete sales engagement activities with new and existing clients, including site tours, client appointments, sales blitzes, and new business prospecting calls.
- Retention: Conduct regular account reviews and seek consistent feedback to ensure we are not just meeting, but exceeding, client expectations.
- Networking: Act as an ambassador at industry events, trade shows, and local NYC networking functions.
- Team Collaboration
- Culture: Contribute to a high-performance, supportive environment where collaboration is the default setting.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM data and provide transparent updates on sales performance, challenges, and wins during weekly team huddles.
Qualifications
