About the Role
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for leading Home Comfort Advisors, supporting revenue growth, improving sales execution, and creating alignment across Sales, Operations, CSR, Dispatch, Inside Sales, and field teams. This leader will help ensure both centers operate with a consistent sales rhythm focused on customer experience, whole-home solutions, and performance improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop Home Comfort Advisors across assigned centers.
- Drive revenue growth, sales performance, and customer-first selling behaviors.
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly sales results by center, advisor, trade, and opportunity type.
- Lead combined daily sales huddles across both locations.
- Conduct weekly sales meetings for each assigned center.
- Coach advisors through ride-alongs, one-on-ones, estimate reviews, roleplay, and real-time field support.
- Partner with Operations to improve customer handoffs, technician-generated opportunities, scheduling alignment, and sold-to-installed execution.
- Reinforce consistent execution of the ACE process.
- Partner with CSR, Dispatch, and Inside Sales teams to improve booking quality, lead readiness, follow-up, and customer experience.
- Support new hire onboarding, ramp-up, and retention of sales talent.
- Train teams on financing, tiered options, whole-home solutions, value building, and objection handling.
- Identify sales performance gaps and create clear action plans to improve results.
- Build a culture of urgency, accountability, professionalism, and customer-first selling.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of business-to-consumer sales experience; prior industry experience required.
- Ability to read and write.
- Valid driver’s license with at least three (3) years of driving experience (not including time holding a learner’s permit).
Qualifications
- Strong sales leadership experience, preferably in residential home services, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or a related field.
- Experience leading, coaching, or developing sales professionals.
- Ability to manage performance across multiple locations or teams.
- Strong understanding of sales KPIs, including revenue, close rate, average ticket, financing, discounting, margin, and follow-up conversion.
- Ability to inspect data and connect numbers to behaviors.
- Strong coaching, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to build trust quickly with Sales, Operations, CSR, Dispatch, Inside Sales, and field teams.
- Comfortable leading meetings, trainings, roleplays, and field coaching sessions.
- Strong customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- High urgency, high accountability, and strong emotional intelligence.
- Ability to travel regularly between assigned centers.

- Perform work while sitting and/or standing at an individual workstation or office.
- Communicate verbally via phone or other communication devices.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
- Use hands to type, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 10 pounds.
- Work is usually performed in an indoor office environment.

Advertised pay is average base plus bonuses for the Branch Manager position. This is an Exempt position.
