Position Responsibilities
- Lead the sales functions of the assigned region.
- Monitor productivity of teams against company goals.
- Drive team to achieve sales goals.
- Identify new market opportunities for sales team to enter.
- Cook up local sales strategy with corporate sales initiatives.
- Coordinate local sales strategy with corporate sales initiatives.
- Provide reports for management team based on performance of sales team.
- Mentor and develop associates with new sales techniques.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be successful in this position:
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or minimum of 5 years of experience leading a sales team.
- Proven track record of driving teams to sales targets and goals.
- Experience in distribution industry preferred.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Pay
$80 - $90k + Commission
Schedule
This position is based in the Itasca, IL area, so only candidates residing in the Chicagoland area will be considered.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
