About the role

The Area Sales Manager will service and grow the Installed Base of equipment in the assigned territory by selling repair services, refurbishments, upgrades, parts, process optimization, and equipment training. The role covers all ANDRITZ Separation product lines including centrifuges, belt filter presses, screens, and ancillary equipment. You will report to the Regional Service Sales Manager and collaborate closely with Service Center Managers and Product Specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Call on customers in the territory on a regular basis to increase order intake.
  • Maintain active communications with in-house personnel.
  • Document customer visits via CIC reports in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Represent all assigned product lines during each customer visit.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the territory.
  • Manage territory forecasts, budgets, and cost controls.
  • Maintain the established customer base and develop new relationships.
  • Periodically evaluate the effectiveness of key account sales strategies and tactics.
  • Coordinate ANDRITZ activities within each account.
  • Pass sales opportunities and leads to the ANDRITZ Capital Sales group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in the Industrial (Petrochemical, Pulp & Paper, General Chemical) and Municipal (Water & Wastewater) sectors.
  • Proven sales experience with a minimum of 5 years, including team leadership.
  • Established customer relationships in the territory preferred.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.

Skills

  • Assess financial decisions and suggest methods to meet staff and organizational needs.
  • Present complex information articulately to executives or public officials on high-visibility issues.
  • Evaluate customer needs and develop innovative products and services to address them.
