Accountabilities
- Own commercial performance across the Western United States by leading sales strategy, developing regional talent, and ensuring consistent execution against business objectives.
- Combine strategic thinking with hands-on field leadership to accelerate growth, strengthen customer engagement, and improve organizational capabilities.
- Lead the Western sales organization to achieve or exceed revenue, market share, and profitability objectives.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with commercial priorities and growth goals.
- Manage, coach, and develop Regional Sales Managers and sales teams to build a high-performing culture.
- Drive accountability through performance reviews, coaching, business planning, and ongoing feedback.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to identify opportunities and risks.
- Oversee territory planning, resource allocation, forecasting, quota management, and operational performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators and use data-driven insights to improve sales execution and business outcomes.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, training, finance, medical affairs, analytics, and human resources to align strategies and execution.
- Provide field insights to influence commercial initiatives, customer engagement strategies, and future product opportunities.
- Support product launches, national meetings, industry events, and customer-facing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical business practices.
- Build a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and strong customer relationships.
Requirements
- An experienced commercial leader with a strong track record of managing complex sales organizations, developing talent, and delivering sustainable revenue growth within healthcare-related industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, healthcare, or aesthetics industries.
- Demonstrated success leading geographically distributed sales teams and multiple levels of sales leadership.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing sales professionals.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing revenue growth, forecasting, budgets, and business planning.
- Able to translate business strategy into actionable field execution plans.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
- Strong executive presence with outstanding communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.
- Experience managing change, prioritizing competing initiatives, and operating in dynamic environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
- Preferred experience in medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, specialty pharmaceuticals, or new product launches.
- MBA or advanced business degree is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 60% across the assigned territory.
