Western States Lodging & Management is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Area Sales Coordinator to support sales efforts across a portfolio of hotels in Idaho. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is driven to contribute to revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Support and help drive revenue growth across multiple hotel properties
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and satisfaction
- Track market trends and identify new opportunities for growth
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, bookings, and results
- Monitor daily arrivals to ensure guest needs and expectations are met
- Collaborate with front desk teams to ensure accurate rates, group bookings, and reporting
- Participate in community and industry events to build brand awareness
- Affiliate with sales campaigns, promotions, and marketing initiatives
- Attend regular team meetings and contribute to overall sales strategy
Requirements
- 2+ years of hotel sales experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to build rapport and influence
- Knowledge of sales techniques including prospecting, relationship building, and closing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Professional presence and a strong customer service mindset
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable
