About the role
The Area Manager will lead the commercial sales operation for a defined area, focusing on driving growth, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and empower a diverse team of account managers and field service engineers.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, learning, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Encourage individual growth through ongoing feedback, coaching, and development planning.
- Drive growth through collaboration with your team to achieve regional growth and performance goals.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for key accounts and new business.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Act as a technical and commercial resource for complex challenges.
- Oversee compliance with safety, environmental, and corporate policies.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
- Drive efficiency and cost control initiatives.
- Identify market trends and opportunities in the Central Area.
- Lead regional initiatives to expand Solenis' footprint.
- Support product launches and innovation adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in chemical sales.
- Proven leadership experience in managing regional teams.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel within the area.

Pay
$102,130.00 - $149,776.00 per year, plus discretionary bonuses.
