About the Role
You will oversee quality and safety standards, associate development, productivity management, vendor relations, process improvement, and budget administration within an assigned logistics area.
Responsibilities
- Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures.
- Monitor associate compliance with policies, standards, and procedures.
- Distribute and maintain procedures and supporting documentation.
- Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
- Teach, support, and model Logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures.
- Identify training and development needs.
- Participate in the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders.
- Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
- Identify associate, customer, and supplier concerns; consult with others to determine corrective actions or resolution recommendations.
- Implement the business plan by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling to achieve facility objectives (e.g., production, quality, safety).
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and vendors; resolve routine supplier issues and escalate non-routine issues.
- Research alternative vendors or suppliers and participate in supplier selection.
- Follow procedures to carry out routine supplier management tasks; ensure purchases meet delivery dates and quality specifications.
- Suggest ways to reduce variation and waste in processes.
- Participate in requirements analysis for process changes; illustrate problems, opportunities, and methods for improving business processes.
- Help evaluate factors to address in change programs; gather data for business process analysis.
- Create files of relevant information for specific vendors, customers, or contracts.
- Implement organizational protocols and procedures for contracts management; review contracts for compliance.
- Administer locally relevant contracts for the department.
- Document capital appropriations and project authorizations.
- Produce budget reports of planned versus actual expenses with variances explained; apply established organizational practices in budgeting.
- Use budgeting and chargeback practices within an assigned area; supply supporting information and justifications for major line items.
- Examine expense management guidelines within the organization.
- Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply it to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance.
- Support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships with key stakeholders and identifying business needs.
- Model compliance with company policies and procedures; support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Foster a culture of belonging where associates feel seen, supported, and connected; create opportunities for all associates to thrive and perform.
- Build strong and trusting relationships; communicate with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in business, logistics, or related area and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related area.
- 1 year's Walmart Logistics management experience.
- 2 years' Walmart Logistics experience.
- 2 years' supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year's supervisory experience.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Walmart Logistics supervisory experience.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $78,600.00 - $118,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location and stock.
