About the role

Factor a brand of HelloFresh is seeking an Area Manager II, Quality to lead our QA teams in ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and sanitation meet our high-quality standards to provide the best service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide employee instructions to guide QA checks, documentation, and expectations.
• Work towards continuous improvement in all areas to enhance the business of HelloFresh and adhere to company policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation regarding GMPs, HACCP, processing analysis, and environmental monitoring.
• Coach QA employees to follow company procedures and train new employees on standard operating procedures.
• Ensure the daily workload is distributed equitably based on priority and ability.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to QA Manager.
• Occasionally inspect products or surfaces using tools like a thermometer, gas analyzers, food scales, and gas analyzers.
• Update quality numbers in the computer system using computer programs.
• Provide guidance to employees by coordinating work and resolving problems for their QA team.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in food science or a related field, though not required.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Must obtain certification as a power material handling equipment operator.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions).
• Basic computer skills to input information into the computer.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
