Area Manager II

About the role

Join our WW Operations network as an Area Manager. Lead a team of hourly workers, engage them during shifts to maintain high levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. Ensure customer orders are delivered on time and to the right location.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans
• Engage with hourly workforce during shifts
• Work in an environment with varying noise levels and temperatures
• Continuously climb and descend stairs

Requirements

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Experience managing a team of 20+ employees
• Experience with process improvements (Lean process, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma)
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience, and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
