Area Manager II

About the role

Join our WW Operations network as an Area Manager. Lead a team of hourly workers to maintain high standards of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. Engage your team during shifts to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and to the right location.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean process, Kaizen, and Six Sigma
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently perform physical tasks like pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Work in an environment with varying noise levels and temperatures
• Continuously climb and descend stairs

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
• Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience, experience managing a team of 20+ employees, and industry experience in retail, F&B, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production or distribution environments
