Area Manager- Before and After School Program

About the role

As an AlphaBEST Area Manager, you'll lead a team to create an exciting before and after school learning environment for students and staff across multiple school-based sites in the Denver Metro area. You will ensure the successful implementation of engaging programs that advance children's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team based on core values: Children First, Have Fun, Value Connection, Drive Innovation, "Yes" Mindset, BEST at what we do, Make it Right.
• Ensure the successful implementation of programs that support child development across your area's program sites.
• Collaborate with peers and the Regional Leadership Team to share program-related information with staff, students, parents, and school administrators.
• Respond to and resolve concerns from stakeholders.
• Hire and develop exceptional, diverse, and high-performing team members, including Captains (Site Directors) and Guides (Group Leaders).
• Evaluate program safety and performance, making corrections as necessary.
• Build sustainable community partnerships with local business leaders and organizations.
• Maintain existing customer relationships and create new growth opportunities.
• Foster a caring, family-oriented environment where positive relationships with staff, children, parents, and schools thrive.

Requirements

• A BA or BS in Education, Business Management, or a related field preferred; Master's degree or higher is a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must meet the minimum Colorado Site Director qualifications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Familiarity with Colorado Licensing and CCAP.
• Must successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations.

Pay

Yearly salary range: $58,000 - $60,000 (depending on education and experience).
