Area Manager 2026 – Pennsylvania (Recent and Upcoming Graduates)

About the role

This is a full-time, entry-level position located within one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations or other operations buildings. You will lead a team of hourly employees across our Operations network in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Extensive training and development are provided to help you become an exceptional people leader.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50–100 direct-report Amazon Associates
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
• Regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs; most sites follow a fixed 4-day work week with 3 days off
• Oversee truck deliveries and handle/sort packages using pallet jacks; operate PIT equipment where applicable and step in as needed
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
• Climb and descend stairs where applicable

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026 (all degree requirements must be met before your first day)

Preferred qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field

Pay

• Pennsylvania locations (Breinigsville, Carlisle, Easton, Hamburg, Philadelphia, York): $65,200 – $75,000 annually
