Area Manager 2026 – Indiana (Recent and Upcoming Graduates)
About the role
This is not a corporate, remote or office-based position. This is a full-time, entry level position located within one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations or other operations buildings.
Responsibilities
- Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates
- Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment
- Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
- Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs
- Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment (at applicable facilities) and step in as needed
- Work in an environment where the noise level varies
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
- Climb and descend stairs (when applicable)
Requirements
Key job responsibilities include supporting, mentoring, and motivating a team of Amazon Associates, working independently, and operating in an autonomous environment. Shifts can vary and may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities also include overseeing deliveries, handling packages, and performing physical tasks such as lifting and climbing stairs.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
