Area Learning Center 9-12 Credit Recovery Program Teachers

About the role

The Faribault Area Learning Center is seeking 2 Credit Recovery Teachers for after school Credit Recovery courses serving grades 9‑12. Teachers will manage and track student work to recover credit in core subject areas using the Edgenuity platform.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track student work to recover credit in core subject areas via Edgenuity software.
• Oversee student attendance records, grading, and credit completion records.
• Work with at‑risk students (experience desired).
• Communicate effectively with students, counselors, and the ALC Coordinator.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills in managing course materials and student progress.

Requirements

• Hold a valid teaching license from the State of Minnesota.
• Be competent in utilizing Edgenuity.
• Experience working with at‑risk students is desired.

Skills

• Strong organizational abilities.
• Effective communication with students, counselors, and the ALC Coordinator.

Pay

Per FEA Master Contract

Schedule

Sessions generally run for four weeks, Monday through Thursday, 3:15 – 4:15 p.m.
