Area Director of People Services

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the People Services operation for multiple business units.
• Ensure continued attraction, development, and retention of great talent.
• Achieve top talent acquisition through applicant tracking system, competency-based interviews, and data analysis.
• Lead team member engagement initiatives such as Connect x Beekeeper, CultureAmp surveys, and property-specific programs.
• Administer associate benefits and open enrollment to support team members.
• Provide coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Administer performance management system and talent management system.
• Stay updated on government regulations and ensure compliance.
• Manage FMLA/LOA functions with compassion and empathy.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of HR experience in a similar position.
• Hands-on leader who values relationship building with all team members.
• Familiarity with employment laws, EEOC regulations, and state-specific guidelines.
• Comfortable conducting employee relations conversations virtually.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools and HRIS systems (iCIMS and UKG preferred).

Pay

$135,000 - $145,000/yr. + 30% bonus
