About the role
The Area Director for New York will bring Neko Health’s operating model, culture, and member-first standards to life across a growing portfolio of clinics in New York City. This role sits at the intersection of leadership, execution, and local adaptation.
Responsibilities
- Bring the operating model to life
- Embed Neko Health’s operating model across New York clinics
- Ensure global standards are understood, embraced, and brought to life in day-to-day clinic operations
- Lead the successful local adoption of existing playbooks and standards
- Create strong clinic-level leadership capability
- Operationalise readiness for new clinic openings
- Establish clear performance rhythms (metrics, reviews, feedback loops)
- Partner closely with the Country Leader, US and central teams
- Ensure the global operating model works in practice locally
- Ensure each clinic consistently delivers a seamless, premium member experience
- Build and uphold Neko's clinical quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement in medical delivery and inspection readiness
- Own regional operational KPIs and full P&L accountability
- Recruit, onboard, lead, and coach a team of Clinic Leads and Lead Physicians
- Build a strong culture of accountability, communication, and collaboration
- Champion cross-functional alignment
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role
- Demonstrated success implementing and embedding established operating models, standards, and playbooks
- Strong track record leading clinic-level or site-level leaders
- Experience operating in regulated environments
- Proven financial and operational acumen
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance strategic perspective with hands-on execution
- Comfort leading through ambiguity and change
