Our ProTrack Program, the longest running professional circus training program in the United States, is seeking a Ballroom & Latin Instructor to join our faculty.

About the role

We are looking for passionate, experienced instructors to teach ballroom and Latin dance styles to students in our professional circus training program. This role involves developing and delivering curriculum, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach ballroom and Latin dance techniques, including but not limited to Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Samba, and Jive.
• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to students of varying skill levels, from beginner to advanced.
• Provide individualized feedback and coaching to help students refine their technique and performance skills.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate dance training into the broader circus arts curriculum.
• Prepare students for performances, competitions, and auditions as needed.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional teaching experience in ballroom and/or Latin dance.
• Proficiency in a wide range of ballroom and Latin dance styles.
• Experience working with students of diverse ages and skill levels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Certification or formal training in dance instruction is a plus.
