The Framework
The Framework - Architecture Manager oversees the strategy, development, implementation, and ongoing management of CLA’s Development Governance and Product Initiatives. This role is accountable for ensuring development practices remain stable, scalable, and well-governed across product areas.
Responsibilities
- Establish, own, and continuously improve the governance model and operating cadence for architecture decision-making, ensuring decisions are documented, reviewed, communicated, and periodically revalidated.
- Lead partnership with Enterprise Architecture to translate enterprise-wide standards and decisions into actionable guidance for CLA teams, ensuring alignment, adoption, and traceability of impacts across the portfolio.
- Oversee product and tool selection governance, including establishing evaluation criteria, decision forums, approval pathways, and exception handling; ensure decisions balance team autonomy with enterprise standards and risk management.
- Own and maintain the SDLC governance roadmap, defining maturity checkpoints, prioritizing improvements, and reporting progress, risks, and dependencies to leadership and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
Qualifications
- 6 years of relevant experience required.
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
