Architecture Grad Student

About The RoleAmbitus is looking for architecture grad students to contribute to a high-priority research project. This is a remote contract position [$60-100 / hour] focused on advancing AI capabilities in building design. The project will center on translating 2D technical architectural (A) and structural (S) drawing sheets into 3D IFC building models. You’ll be asked to provide prior building drawing and model file pairs for compensation and may receive additional opportunities for hourly work involving modeling and quality review. Core ResponsibilitiesProvide 2D A and S technical drawing sheets and 3D IFC models of complex buildings from prior work or projectsCreate accurate 3D IFC models based on technical drawingsReview architectural files for completeness and accuracy against project specifications QualificationsIn the process of obtaining or has recently obtained a master’s degree in architecture or a related disciplinePrior experience in producing architectural drawings for complex buildingsProficient in creating 3D IFC models of complex buildings using modeling applications such as ArchiCAD or Revit Application ProcessApply on our site to be considered for the role.
