Architecture AI Analyst

Duration: 12+ months
Location: Onsite 3-4 days/week in Charlotte, NC

About the role

Design scalable AI architectures that combine machine learning, large language models (LLMs), backend services, and enterprise data. Build solutions using Anthropic Claude models, Java, Python, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and vector search to solve financial-services use cases. Partner with senior consultants, data science teams, and architecture AI practitioners while mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional AI/ML software development experience.
• Experience integrating Anthropic Claude APIs, including Messages API, tool use, and system prompt design.
• Hands-on experience with Python for ML development, scripting, data processing, and AI pipeline construction.
• Financial Services Loan Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design AI-oriented architectures integrating machine learning models with LLM capabilities.
• Develop backend services using Java with AI integration layers using Python.
• Implement Anthropic Claude solutions covering prompt engineering, tool use, and multi-turn conversations.
• Build AI pipelines covering data ingestion, preprocessing, model inference, and output post-processing.
• Design RAG patterns with vector search for enterprise data integration.
• Conduct technical reviews while contributing to architectural decision records (ADRs).
• Identify performance bottlenecks within AI-driven systems.
• Evaluate scalability concerns across AI architectures.
• Contribute to AI knowledge-sharing initiatives.
