Responsibilities
- Provide onsite leadership for direct subcontractor workforce, control and direction of all curtain wall installation and related field and construction management activities.
- Support the Project Manager with planning and organizing project work, including management of the installation sequence and critical activities, to assure all work is executed in accordance with the contract documents.
- This includes the submittal schedule, material deliveries, schedule updates, work progress/productivity and associated changes.
- Supervise the timely and cost-effective installation of the contracted curtain wall scope, including aluminum framing systems, glazing, sealants, and waterproofing.
- Develop a plan for sequence of work and project schedule with the Project Manager and scheduling team.
- Support the Project Manager in the development of logistics plans and schedules during pre-construction and early project activities.
- Provide ongoing project status updates with all parties throughout construction.
- Provide project reports, documentation, technical assistance, support, and collaboration.
- Develop comprehensive understanding of owner contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Ensure compliance with company safety, industry, trade, and federal/local jurisdictional standards, practices, codes, and GSA requirements.
- Perform daily site inspections to monitor workmanship, progress, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Perform other duties as required.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in curtain wall, facade systems, or similar exterior envelope construction.
- Ability to review confidential US security information.
- OSHA 30-hour Certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with aluminum curtain wall systems, glazing, anchoring systems, and weatherproofing preferred.
- Experience working on federal or GSA projects preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, materials, and manpower.
- Demonstrated ability to lead field operations.
- Knowledge and experience with performing Quality Control management.
- Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication, and presentation skills.
- Computer software proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Proven experience with OSHA safety standards, building envelope systems, and applicable codes and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships.

Pay
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $92,000–$134,000 (presented in good faith).
