About the role

The successful candidate will get specific and detailed instructions regarding project tasks and also will work independently or on a team on a self-guided summer project. Completes work efforts in a timely and comprehensive manner. Takes the initiative to either work out or research a work effort. Seeks help and guidance from officer mentors.

Responsibilities

• Completes work efforts in a timely and comprehensive manner.
• Takes the initiative to either work out or research a work effort.
• Sets up and maintains a design portfolio.
• Works on a self-guided summer project.
• Works independently or on a team on a self-guided summer project.
• Participates in a series of workshops and events.
• Works alongside firm leaders to address issues that will impact our future strategy.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture or Masters of Architecture degree from an accredited university is required.
• Demonstrated experience with REVIT, Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Established digital and traditional rendering and graphics abilities.
• Candidates should possess a positive attitude, outstanding work ethic and be team oriented.
• Qualified candidates should exhibit strong organizational skills, clear design thinking, and good oral and written communication skills.
• A design portfolio or sampling of work will be required.

Pay

$17.75 /hour - $28.75 /hour. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
