Responsibilities
- Conducting literature/records searches
- Participating in field work
- Conducting archival research
- Preparing historic contexts
- Applying National Register criteria to evaluate architectural resources
- Preparing architectural history components of NHPA and CEQA technical reports
- Documenting architectural resources on California DPR 523 records and Historic American Building Survey (HABS) / Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) / Historic American Landscape Surveys (HALS)
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Master of Arts (or evidence of completed M.A. coursework and nearly completed M.A. degree) in History, Public History, Architecture, Architectural History, or other closely related field
- 1-2 years of experience
- Based in Rocklin office with regional travel required, mostly within Northern California

Pay
Base full-time annual salary range is $50,000-$70,000. Starting salary is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications/permits, geographic location, internal equity and market conditions.
