Responsibilities

• Use computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to create construction documents and detailed designs of buildings and interiors under the guidance of a Project Architect.
• Assist with building conditions assessments, reports, and field documentation for projects.
• Assist with building code reviews and compliance studies, under the guidance of a Project Architect.
• Verify construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications.

Requirements

• An associate’s degree or certification program in architectural drafting or similar.
• 2–8 years of applicable experience preferred.
• American Design Drafting Association (ADDA) certification preferred.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software; experience with Revit and AutoCAD is preferred.
• Knowledge of building design, specifications, and construction documents.
• Proficient in technical writing and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to interact effectively within a project team environment.
• Desire to learn quickly and be self-motivated.
• Take personal responsibility for the accurate and timely completion of assignments on various projects.

Pay

Estimated pay range: $28–35/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location, market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
