Architectural Designer

About the role

C.Wall Architecture is an architectural studio with two offices in Brooklyn, NY, and Bradley Beach, NJ. We provide contemporary design detailing on new construction and often pair it with respectful upgrades to existing and sometimes historic structures. Our focus is on boutique restaurant and bar design, residential enlargement renovations, and new development.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day assignments for architectural staff on your team
• Review the work of architectural staff
• Coordinate construction documents and consultants
• Manage projects from conceptual design to construction documents, construction administration, and on-site work
• Involvement with all project phases and submittals to LPC and DOB
• Work collaboratively and multitask on multiple projects while responding to deadlines in a timely manner

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited institution, B.Arch. minimum
• 4-6 years of experience in all phases of design, from conceptual design to construction documents, construction administration, and on-site work
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong drawing and graphic communication skills across a variety of platforms, including hand sketching
• Excellent communication skills and analytical sense

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Pay

$65,000 - $85,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, 8-hour workday
